Student Name: Noelle Krasny
Student Email: 15njk1@queensu.ca
Dear Ms. Krasny:
I have reviewed your request to complete four courses on an International Letter of Permission for your BA (Honours) degree with a Major concentration in Geography at a Charles University in Prague. As you know, Regulation 14.4 indicates that €œnormally the last two years of the Honours degree are taken in the Faculty of Arts and Science at Queen€™s.€ However, given the circumstances explained in your letter of appeal, and the support of the Geography Department, I agree to this request. Please consult with your department regularly to ensure that the courses you select will properly fulfill the Queen€™s requirements for your degree.
You must now apply for an International Letter of Permission through the International Programs Office. Please allow up to 21 days to receive a response.
Note that official transcripts with final grades must be received by the Faculty of Arts and Science Office upon completion of the courses. Please keep in mind that you must achieve a minimum grade of C on each course taken on a Letter of Permission, unless stated otherwise.
Finally, please be advised that a student can complete a maximum of 54.0 transfer units towards their BA Honours degree (see Academic Regulation 16.1.3).
I wish you well in the remainder of your studies at Queen€™s, in your studies while attending university in Prague, and in your future undertakings.
Yours sincerely,
Johanne Bénard, Ph.D.
