Dear Mr. Woodley:
I have carefully considered your appeal to drop CLST 312, CLST 332, CLST 341, HIST 218 and LLCU 329 (F 2017) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.
I have granted this appeal based on the severity of your extenuating circumstances and your decision to take some time away from your studies to address your health concerns. Upon your return to your studies, I recommend that you take a lighter course load and meet with an Academic Advisor at week 7 of the term (just prior to the drop date) to evaluate the impact of your health on your studies and review your progress in your courses.
Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
Sincerely,
Jill Atkinson, Ph.D.
