After careful consideration of the documentation you submitted and the information supplied by the instructors about your academic performance in PHIL 257, I have decided to grant your appeal.
The instructors of PHIL 257 has submitted a replacement grade based on the work you have completed, which will appear on your transcript as B+ along with the notation €œAegrotat: estimated grade€.
I encourage you to continue to maintain contact with your psychiatrist and explore the possibility of registering with QSAS to potentially get the appropriate accommodations for your condition. I would also suggest that you evaluate the impact of your health on your studies prior to week 8 of term and to drop courses if necessary at that time.
I am confident that in the future you will make every effort to inform yourself of the academic regulations concerning deadlines as they are outlined in Important Dates Section on the Arts and Science web page.
