I have carefully considered your appeal to drop PSYC 271 (F 2018) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

I have granted this appeal based on the extenuating circumstances you have described and the documentation you provided but in the future, documentation of a health condition requires a letter from a health professional who is not personally related to you.

In the future, I recommend that you see an academic advisor or personal counsellor prior to the drop date to realistically appraise your progress and determine whether your health condition is affecting your course work.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
