I have carefully considered your appeal to drop PSYC 100 (S 2018) past the academic deadline and issue you a tuition fee refund. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

I have granted this appeal based on the severity of your extenuating circumstances and am confident that in the future you will make every effort to drop courses by the deadlines as they are outlined in Important Dates Section on the Arts and Science web page. These deadlines have been established by the Faculty of Arts and Science to ensure that students have sufficient time to evaluate their progress and, if life circumstances are compromising their studies, to drop course without academic penalty.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding.
