Dear Ms. Nahar:
I have carefully considered your appeal to drop MATH 280, MATH 474 (F 2017) and MATH 210, MATH 385, ECON 255, MATH 281 (W 2018) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided the following:
1. To grant your request to drop MATH 280 and MATH 474 (F 2017) based on your extenuating circumstances which are documented by Dr. Callaghan.
2. To deny your request to drop MATH 210, MATH 385, ECON 255 and MATH 281 (W 2018). Your letter states that due to your motor vehicle accident and a stomach virus, you were unable to complete your exams but the documentation you have submitted does not confirm the motor vehicle accident nor the stomach virus but only that you are receiving treatment related to the self-report of an accident. I am willing to reconsider my decision if you can provide more specific documentation such as a police report or insurance claim which links the accident specifically to the dates of your exams. If you are able to provide this additional documentation, you may submit it to asc.appeals@queensu.ca within 21 days of receiving this decision. Please indicate in the subject line of your appeal that it is related to Appeal 4960.
