Category: Drop a course after the academic deadline
Dear Mr. Fanjoy:
I have carefully considered your appeal to drop PSYC 241 and ECON 111 (F 2018) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.
I commend you for making the difficult decision to not play for the varsity hockey team this semester and to devote your time to your studies and your health. I would strongly suggest that you evaluate the impact your health is having on your academics during week 7 of the term and drop courses by week 8 should you be behind in your course requirements.
Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
Best of luck with your studies this term.
Yours sincerely,
Jenn Stephenson, Ph.D.
