Dear Ms. Sabra:
I have carefully considered your appeal to Extend the Incomplete grades in PSYC 251 and PSYC 241 (W 2018). After reviewing your file I have decided to deny your request.
Academic Regulation 10.3.4 notes that Incomplete standing in a course is a temporary designation whereby the student had until the end of the following term to complete the course requirements. After that time period has lapsed, the grade reverts to the mark that the student had originally received in the course.
While you outline the reasons why you were not successful in completing the courses during the Winter term 2018, your appeal fails to outline extenuating circumstances which prevented you from completing the course during the Summer term 2018 nor does it provide documentation relevant to that time period.
Given the challenges you outline and the documentation submitted related to Winter term 2018, I would recommend that you instead modify your appeal and request to drop PSYC 251 and PSYC 241.
