Upon review of your appeal and the circumstances you outline, I agree that carrying a lighter course load this term would be beneficial. It is unfortunate that you missed the deadline date to drop ECON 320, but in light of your extenuating circumstances as well as your timely appeal, I have decided to grant your request to drop ECON 320 (W 2019) past the academic deadline.

I do suggest that in the future, you be more mindful of the academic deadline dates to drop courses(s) and ensure that going forward you do not miss the week 8 drop deadline. I encourage you Brendan to consider registering with Queen€™s Student Accessibility Services (QSAS) in the future if your vision impairments continue so that you can receive the appropriate accommodations to help lead you to successful outcomes in your courses.
