Dear Ms. Greenberg:

I was saddened to read in your letter of appeal of the difficult choices you feel you must make regarding your courses due to possible job layoffs. Based on the extenuating circumstances you outline, I have made the decision to grant your appeal to drop LLCU 111, BIOL 243 and MUSC 102 (W 2019) past the academic deadline. I can see, since you dropped two courses prior to the drop date, that you were trying to make good academic decisions but realized after that date that the situation may be more uncertain than you had hoped.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
