I was sorry to have read in your letter of appeal that you experienced a medical emergency during Winter term 2019 which no doubt impacted your studies. Based on your circumstances outlined as well as your documentation, I have decided to grant your appeal to drop CWRI 295 (W 2019) past the academic deadline. I am pleased that you made a good academic decision and dropped one of your courses with the hope that you would be able to manage the remaining 4 courses. Perhaps in the future, carrying a lighter course load will allow you to meet the demands of your remaining courses.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding.
