Dear Sara Drimmer:

I was sorry to have read in your letter of appeal the health related difficulties you have experienced which have impacted your studies this year. Based on those circumstances as well as the documentation you have provided, I have decided to grant your appeal to drop ARTF 275, CISC 124, CISC 282 (F 2018), CISC 124, CISC 203 and MATH 210 (W 2019) past the academic deadline.

I was disappointed to read that you had reached out for help from the Queen€™s Counselling service during the Fall term but were unable to receive an appointment at that time. I commend you however for being an advocate for your own health and sought out assistance from a private counsellor. In the future, it is my hope that you will receive appropriate accommodations through QSAS, once you submit your RARC to that office.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
