I was sorry to have read in your letter of appeal the difficult health related circumstances you have experienced this term which no doubt have impacted your studies. Based on your circumstances and the documentation received, I have decided to grant your appeal to drop PHYS 239, PHYS 212 and PHYS 250 (W 2019) past the academic deadline.

I encourage you to continue to work with your health care professionals and to consider registering with QSAS in the future if you have not done so already. A QSAS Advisor can help implement accommodations that will assist you with your health and academics. Going forward, you should pause and evaluate the impact of your health by week 7 of the term and if you have fallen behind in your course work, you should drop courses by week 8.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
