Dear Emily Mills,

I was sorry to read of the health difficulties you have experienced this past academic year. After carefully reviewing your appeal for credit standing in HIST 210 and HIST 422 (F 18) and to drop MUTH 231 and LLCU 320 (W 19) past the academic deadline, I have decided the following:

1. To grant your appeal to drop MUTH 231 and LLCU 320 (W 19).

2. To deny your request for credit standing in HIST 210 and HIST 422 (F 18).

I have granted the late drops in MUTH 231 and LLCU 320 (W 19) based on your extenuating circumstances. However, I have denied your request for credit standing in HIST 210 and HIST 422 (F 18) because Credit standing requires the student to complete all of the assignments as well as fulfil the learning outcomes of the course. Based on the grade breakdowns provided by both course instructors, these standards have not been met.
