I was sorry to read of the challenges you faced during the Fall term and understand that these were difficult circumstances to deal with. I have carefully considered your appeal to drop CHEM 281 and BIOL 205 (F 2018) past the academic deadline and receive Credit standing in BIOL 243 (F 2018). After reviewing your file I have decided the following:

1. To grant your appeal to drop CHEM 281 and BIOL 205 (F 2018).

2. To deny your request for Credit standing in BIOL 243 (F 2018). The instructor in this course advised that he has already modified your grade. Based on your performance in the course, you actually received a failing grade but the instructor raised the grade to a D- so that you could pass the course.
