Dear Meghan Bayley,

After carefully considering your appeal request for credit standing in DEVS 410 (S 17), an incomplete extension in DEVS 411(F 17), and to drop ENIN 301, FILM 335 (F 17) and DEVS 492 (W 18) past the academic deadline, I have decided the following:

1. Grant request for incomplete extensions for DEVS 410 (S 17) and DEVS 411 (F17). Although you requested credit standing for DEVS 410, your instructor indicated that he couldn€™t give you credit standing in the course, but instead was willing to allow you more time to complete the course work.

2. Grant request to drop ENIN 301, FILM 335 (F 17) and DEVS 492 (W 18).

In the future, I am confident that you will make every effort to inform yourself of the academic regulations concerning deadlines as they are outlined in the Important Dates section on the Arts and Science web page. Please ensure you assess your progress in your courses or discuss your options with an Academic Advisor during week 7 or 8 of the term. If you find that you have fallen behind in your attendance, readings or assignments, it is your responsibility to drop by the end of week 8.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.

Yours sincerely,

Jenn Stephenson, Ph.D.
