I read with interest your letter of appeal requesting to drop PSYC 100 late from the 2014/2015 academic year. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

I have granted this appeal only because your original appeal to drop a course from that year was previously granted. Any future appeals will require more detailed documentation which addresses the timeline and impact that the circumstances had on your studies. Going forward I strongly recommend that you pause and evaluate the impact of your health and life circumstances on your studies prior to week 8 of term. The week 8 drop deadlines, as they have been outlined in the €œImportant Dates€ section on the Arts and Science web page, have been established by the Faculty of Arts and Science to ensure a fair and equitable treatment of all students.

Jeewoo, I wanted to alert you to the fact that a Required to Withdraw for Three Years ruling has been applied to your transcript but, based on the successful outcome of your appeal, that ruling will be removed on May 21st, 2019.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
