After carefully considering your appeal to drop PSYC 100B (W 19) past the academic deadline, I have decided to grant your request.

Your extenuating circumstances were well known long before the March 1st deadline to drop full year courses, therefore you could have dropped the course in SOLUS before the deadline. I would recommend you consider repeating this course in the future. I am confident that you will make every effort to inform yourself of the academic regulations concerning deadlines moving forward, as they are outlined in the Important Dates section on the Arts and Science web page. Please ensure you assess your progress in your courses or discuss your options with an Academic Advisor during week 7 or 8 of the term. If you find that you have fallen behind in your attendance, readings or assignments, it is your responsibility to drop by the end of week 8.
