Decision Letter
Appeal Number: 5986
Decision Date: July 5, 2019
Associate Dean: Jill Atkinson, Ph.D.
Student Name: Shiqi Zhou
Student Email: 18sz6@queensu.ca
Dear Shiqi Zhou:
I have carefully considered your request to waive the 21 day appeal deadline related to the Requirement to Withdraw for One year Faculty ruling you received and have decided to grant your request. You may now proceed with your planned appeal.
Please access on the on-line appeals system at: http://www.queensu.ca/artsci/help/academic-appeals/online-appeal-submission After you enter your NetID and password you will now have a new appeal option called €œSubmit a Late Appeal€. Choose this option and follow the steps. Your appeal letter should explain the extenuating circumstances which have led to the RTW1 ruling, and include any relevant supporting documentation that wasn€™t included with your prior appeal. There will not be a fee for this new appeal, as it will be considered an amendment to your 21 day deadline appeal so the system will skip over the payment step.
Please note that the documentation which you indicate will be sent separately to the Faculty Office is still outstanding and will be required for consideration of your next appeal.
Sincerely,
Jill Atkinson, Ph.D.
