Dear Richard Nauman,
I was sorry to have read of the challenges you have experienced with regards to your health and have reviewed your appeal to change the grades you received in MATH 121, PHYS 117 (FW 2017/18); ANAT 215, BCHM 218, CHEM 281, STAT 263 (F 2018); and ANAT 216 (W 2019) to Credit standing. After careful consideration of the information you provided in your letter of appeal and the documentation you submitted as well as the information supplied by the instructors about your academic performance in these courses, I have decided to grant your appeal.
Your grades in MATH 121, PHYS 117, ANAT 215, BCHM 218, CHEM 281, STAT 263 and ANAT 216 will appear on your transcript as CR.
I encourage you to continue to seek support from your physician and suggest that you explore the possibility of registering with QSAS to potentially get the appropriate accommodations that can support both your health and your academics.
Going forward, I would also suggest that you evaluate the impact of your health on your studies prior to week 8 of term and to drop courses if necessary at that time.
Sincerely,
Jenn Stephenson, Ph.D.
