Dear Laura Radford:
As per standard practice, I have reviewed your appeal before it proceeds to the Board of Studies for consideration. Based on the information you supplied with this appeal, I have decided to change my original decision and grant your request to receive Credit standing in MATH 121 (FW 2018/19).
I am confident that in the future you will make every effort to inform yourself of the academic regulations concerning deadlines as they are outlined in Important Dates Section on the Arts and Science web page. These deadlines have been established by the Faculty of Arts and Science to ensure a fair and equitable treatment of all students allowing them to drop courses should health or personal issues affect their studies. The appeals process is designed to address problems that occur, or become more acute, after the week 8 deadline to drop courses.
Yours sincerely,
Jenn Stephenson, Ph.D.
