As per standard practice, I have reviewed your appeal before it proceeds to the Board of Studies for consideration. Based on the new documentation and information you supplied with this appeal, I have decided to change my original decision and grant your request to waive the 21 day appeal deadline date and will also waive the Requirement to Withdraw for One Year.
Based on the very difficult circumstances you outlined, I am also willing to drop GNDS 120, GNDS 212 (F 2018), GNDS 215 (W 2019), PHIL 111 (FW 2018/19), CLST 205, LAW 202 (S 2019) past the academic deadline as well as grant you Credit standing in GNDS 125 (W 2019). I understand you have notified our office that you will accept this offer and we have therefore proceeded with the Records Form to amend those grades.
Note that any change in academic registration (e.g. dropping courses) may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding such as OSAP, scholarships, or bursaries. Please consult with the Student Awards Office (Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall) to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load. A change in academic registration may also affect a student€™s enrollment status as a full or part-time student, eligibility for student visas, or benefits through external agencies.
