As per standard practice, I have reviewed your appeal before it proceeds to the Board of Studies for consideration. Based on the new information you supplied with this appeal, I have decided to change my original decision and grant your request to drop COMM 200 (F 2019) late.
As mentioned in my previous letter dated December 12, 2019, I strongly encourage you to reach out early in the term if you have challenges accessing the course materials and to check SOLUS for your course enrolments. As mentioned as well, a good practice for all students is to carefully evaluate their progress in courses during week 7 of the term. If a student has fallen behind or if their health is impacting their studies, they should drop courses by the week 8 drop deadline date.
