I am sorry to have read of the extenuating circumstances you experienced during the Fall term 2019 and I have reviewed your appeal to change the grade you received in SOCY 210 (F 2019) to Credit standing. After careful consideration of the documentation you submitted and the information supplied by the instructor about the circumstances surrounding this course, I have decided to grant your appeal.

Your grade in this course will appear on your transcript as CR.

Please note that the Department of Sociology has advised that the CR grade in this course will not be sufficient to meet the minimum grade of C requirement for Sociology Majors so if you wish to pursue that Plan, you will need to repeat that course to meet the pre-requisite grade requirement.
