I am sorry to have read in your appeal letter the circumstances surrounding your experience in SPAN 204 (F 2019) and I have reviewed your appeal to change the grade you received in that course to Credit standing. After careful consideration of the documentation you submitted and the information supplied by the instructor about the circumstances surrounding this course, I have decided to grant your appeal.

Your grade in this course will appear on your transcript as CR.

I encourage you to continue to work with your counsellor and to register with QSAS if your health related challenges continue. Emma, please note that no further appeals regarding these same type of circumstances will be granted. I expect students to put in place appropriate accommodations as needed and to evaluate their progress in courses during week 7 of the term. If students have fallen behind or feel that they will not be successful in a course, it is the student€™s responsibility to drop a course by the week 8 drop date deadline.
