I was sorry to read of your health related challenges you experienced during the Fall term and I have reviewed your appeal to receive Credit standing in CISC 220 (F 2019) as well as change the grade you received in CISC 282 (F 2019) to Aegrotat standing. After careful consideration of the documentation you submitted and the information supplied by the instructors about the circumstances surrounding these courses, I have decided to grant your appeal.
The instructor of CISC 282 has submitted a replacement grade based on the work you have completed, which will appear on your transcript as a B along with the notation €œAegrotat: estimated grade€. Your grade in CISC 220 will appear on your transcript as CR.
Going forward, I encourage you to carefully evaluate your progress in your courses during week 7 of the term and if you have fallen behind in your courses, you should drop courses by the week 8 drop date deadline. The deadlines as outlined in the Important Dates Section on the Arts and Science web page have been established by the Faculty of Arts and Science to ensure a fair and equitable treatment of all students.
Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding.
