Dear Patrick Greene,

I have reviewed our appeal requesting to add ENIN 240 and FILM 236 (F 2020) past the academic deadline and have decided the following:

1. To grant your request to add FILM 236 since the instructor has agreed that you can feasibly catch up in this course. Tuition fees for this course will be charged to your student account once it has been added to your transcript.

It is your responsibility to catch up on any late or missed work in the course and the instructor is not obligated to accommodate any student due to late registration. I would suggest you contact your instructors to discuss the best way to catch up in this course. Please ensure that you monitor your academic progress very carefully and drop courses as needed within the academic deadlines. Registering late for a course is not considered grounds for appealing to drop after the published deadline.

You will be added to OnQ once you are registered, which should be within the next couple of days.

2. To deny your request to add ENIN 240 late. The instructor did not support this late add request noting that it was not feasible for you to catch up in the course.

Going forward, I suggest that you inform yourself of the academic regulations concerning deadlines as they are outlined in the Important Dates section on the Arts and Science web page and ensure you add courses by the last date to add deadline
