I was sorry to read of the difficult health related challenges you experienced during Winter term 2020 and I have carefully considered your appeal to drop ANAT 100 and PHAR 100 (W 2020) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.
Please note that if you wish to appeal for a tuition refund, you must submit a separate appeal through the Registrar€™s office. Here is a link for that appeal:

Going forward, a good practice for all students, is to inform themselves of the academic regulations concerning deadlines as they are outlined in the Important Dates section on the Arts and Science web page. Students should pause and assess their progress in courses during week 7 or 8 of the term and if they find that they have fallen behind in attendance, readings or assignments, it is their responsibility to drop courses by the end of week 8. Appeals for late drops are typically only granted when a problem occurs, or becomes acute, after the drop deadline.
Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
