Dear Ruei-Shin Tsai:

Your appeal to request a retroactive International Letter of Permission for 12.0 units from the National Taiwan University in the Fall 2020 term has been approved on behalf of the Associate Dean (Academics).

As you know, Regulation 14.4 indicates that €œnormally the last two years of the Honours degree are taken in the Faculty of Arts and Science at Queen€™s.€ However, after reviewing your file and the information that you provided within your appeal request, we agree will allow you to request 12.0 units of transfer credits in addition to the 9.0 units of courses that you have already completed at Queens University for the Fall 2020 term. You may now apply for an International Letter of Permission the International Programs Office.

Note that official transcripts with final grades must be received by the International Programs Office upon completion of the courses. Please keep in mind that you must achieve a minimum grade of C on each course taken on a Letter of Permission, unless stated otherwise.

Finally, please be advised that a student can complete a maximum of 57.0 transfer units towards their BA Honours degree (see Academic Regulation 16.1.3).

We wish you well in your studies.

Yours sincerely,

Academic Appeals Office on behalf of
