Dear Connor Plumpton:

I have carefully considered your appeal to drop DEVS 100 and DRAM 200 (FW 2018/19) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

I have exercised some leniency in this decision, acknowledging the confusion that you outlined. If you resume your studies Connor, you should meet with an Academic Advisor to discuss your academics and ensure that you watch your drop dates and monitor student record. Appeals for late drops are generally reserved for those who encounter problems after week 8 or whose problems become more acute and requires documentation to support extenuating circumstances that the student may be experiencing.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
