Your academic appeal to request an International Letter of Permission for 9.0 units of 300-level FILM courses in the Winter 2021 term at Soochow University has been approved on behalf of the Associate Dean (Academics).
As you know, Regulation 14.4 indicates that €œnormally the last two years of the Honours degree are taken in the Faculty of Arts and Science at Queen€™s.€ However, after reviewing your file and the information that you provided within your appeal letter, we will allow you to request 9.0 units of transfer credits in addition to the 12.0 units of courses that you are currently completing remotely at Queens. You may now apply for an International Letter of Permission through the International Programs Office for the Winter 2021 term.
Note that official transcripts with final grades must be received by the International Programs Office upon completion of the courses. Please keep in mind that you must achieve a minimum grade of C on each course taken on a Letter of Permission, unless stated otherwise.
Finally, please be advised that a student can complete a maximum of 57.0 transfer units towards their BA Honours degree (see Academic Regulation 16.1.3).
