I have carefully considered your appeal to drop MUSC 171 (F 2020) past the academic deadline and after reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

I recognize that your ongoing health issues have been impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and the switch to remote learning and have granted this appeal based on the information provided in your appeal letter and the support that you received from your health-care professional. I see that you have reduced your course load for the Winter 2021 term and am confident that you will make every effort to inform yourself of the academic regulations concerning deadlines as they are outlined in the Important Dates section on the Arts and Science web page and ensure that courses are dropped on SOLUS successfully before the posted drop deadline if this impact continues.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding.
