I was sorry to read of the circumstances you outlined in your letter of appeal and I have carefully considered your request to drop CISC 220 (W 2021) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

I made this decision based on, of course, the health related challenges you experienced due to your positive COVID 19 test but also due to the fact that you made a good academic decision prior to the drop date and lightened your course load with the hopes that you could handle the balance of your courses.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
