I was sad to have read in your letter of appeal that your father passed away and I am very sorry for your loss. No doubt that has been difficult for you and your family and I will certainly grant your appeal to drop GPHY 240 (W 2021) past the academic deadline based on that circumstance.

I encourage you to continue to work with your counsellor Haley and if ongoing accommodations are required in your courses in the future, you may want to consider registering with QSAS who can help you manage both your health and your academics.
