I am sorry to have read of the passing of your Grandfather and want to offer you my condolences. I have carefully considered your appeal to drop BCHM 316 (Winter 2021) after the academic deadline and have decided to grant your request.

I acknowledge the challenges that this situation had on your ability to make the decision to drop this course before the March 5, 2021 deadline and going forward, I suggest that you familiar yourself with the published deadlines at the beginning of each term and make sure that you carefully assess whether you are able to manage your studies along with life challenges before the deadline.
