Dear Xinyu Gao,

I am sorry to have read of the health related challenges you experienced during Fall term and I have reviewed your appeal to change the grades you received in PSYC 450 and PSYC 452 (F 2020) to Credit standing. After careful consideration of the documentation you submitted and the information supplied by your instructors, I have decided to grant your appeal.

Your grades in PSYC 450 and PSYC 452 will appear on your transcript as CR.

I have also reviewed your email requests for an opportunity to re-take your exam in PSYC 301 (F 2020) and although it is highly irregular, I will deem your original attempt at the exam in PSYC 301 €invalid€™ due to the health situation you were experiencing during the time you wrote that exam. Based on that decision, you can now re-take that exam. It is your responsibility to contact your instructor, who has kindly agreed to this, to make arrangements to take that exam. Once that exam is repeated, the instructor will submit a change of grade form to the Faculty office who will then process the grade change (if indeed there is a change in your final mark).

Best of luck in your current term.

Sincerely,

Jenn Stephenson, Ph.D.
