Decision Letter
Appeal Number: 7492
Decision Date: April 5, 2021
Associate Dean: Jenn Stephenson, Ph.D.
Student Name: Erin Malus
Student Email: 19em11@queensu.ca
Dear Erin Malus:
I have reviewed your request to complete courses on an International Letter of Permission for your BSC (Honours) degree in Kinesiology at the University of New South Wales. As you know, Regulation 14.4 indicates that €œnormally the last two years of the Honours degree are taken in the Faculty of Arts and Science at Queen€™s.€ However, given the circumstances explained in your letter of appeal, and the support of the School of Kinesiology, I agree to this request. Please continue to consult with your school regularly to ensure that the courses you select will properly fulfill the Queen€™s requirements for your degree.
You must now apply for an International Letter of Permission through the International Programs Office. Please allow up to 21 days to receive a response.
Note that official transcripts with final grades must be received by the Faculty of Arts and Science Office upon completion of the courses. Please keep in mind that you must achieve a minimum grade of C on each course taken on a Letter of Permission, unless stated otherwise.
Finally, please be advised that a student can complete a maximum of 54.0 transfer units towards their BSC Honours degree (see Academic Regulation 16.1.3). You have currently transferred 18.0 units from Dawson College.
Erin, I have reviewed your transcript, which is part of our process, and I want to commend you on such a clear demonstration of hard work. It is always lovely to see such an impressive transcript
I wish you well in the remainder of your studies at Queen€™s, in your studies while attending the University of New South Wales, and in your future undertakings.
Yours sincerely,
Jenn Stephenson, Ph.D.
