I am sorry to have read of the passing of your grandfather and I am sure that has been difficult for you and your family. I have carefully considered your appeal to drop KNPE 153 (F 2020) past the academic deadline as well as receive Credit standing in BIOL 102 (F 2020). After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request. Your grade in BIOL 102 will appear on your transcript as CR.

Andrew, I encourage you to reach out to our Student Wellness Services if you would feel that you would like support from a Counsellor as you work through the grieving process. You may also want to consider taking a lighter course load in the future and you should ensure that you pause and evaluate your progress in your courses prior to week 8 of term and drop courses which are affected by your extenuating circumstances.
