I was sorry to read of the circumstances you outlined in your letter of appeal. No doubt this has been difficult to deal with along with COVID related challenges and I will grant your appeal to drop ENGL 321, LLCU 200 and MUSC 211 (W 2021) past the academic deadline based on the circumstances outlined.

I encourage you to continue to work with your support network and if your circumstances require ongoing accommodations Sian, you may want to register with QSAS who can help support both your health and academics by putting in place appropriate accommodations so you can meet your course work requirements.

Going forward, I encourage you to pause and evaluate your progress in courses during week 7 of the term and if you have been unable to keep up with the course requirements or feel that dropping a course is in your best interest, you should do so by the week 8 drop date deadline.
