Dear Mackenzie Kash:

I was sorry to read of the health-related challenges you have been dealing with this term and I have reviewed your appeal to change the grades you received in ENGL 200 (FW 2020/21), ENGL 237 and ENGL 276 (W 2021) to Aegrotat standing based on those circumstances. After careful consideration of your circumstances, the documentation you submitted, and the information I have received from the instructors, I have decided to grant your appeal.

The instructor of ENGL 200 has submitted a replacement grade based on the work you have completed and your grade in that course will appear on your transcript as A- along with the notation €œAegrotat: estimated grade€.

The instructor of ENGL 237 has submitted a replacement grade based on the work you have completed and your grade in that course will appear on your transcript as B along with the notation €œAegrotat: estimated grade€.

The instructor of ENGL 276 has submitted a replacement grade based on the work you have completed and your grade in that course will appear on your transcript as A- along with the notation €œAegrotat: estimated grade€.

I understand that you have worked with your instructors in FILM 250 and FILM 218 to find a resolution regarding outstanding requirements in those courses, which is commendable.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
