Course: ENGL 200
Term: Winter
Year: 2021

Instructor: Dr. Leslie Ritchie
Dear Jodi Huenemoeder:
I was sorry to read of the various challenges you have been dealing with this term, some of which are COVID19 related, and I have reviewed your appeal to change the grade you received in ENGL 200 (FW 2020/21) to Aegrotat standing based on those circumstances. After careful consideration of your circumstances and the information I have received from your instructor, I have decided to grant your appeal.
The instructor of ENGL 200 has submitted a replacement grade based on the work you have completed and your grade in that course will appear on your transcript as C+ along with the notation €œAegrotat: estimated grade€.
Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
I encourage you to seek out support Jodi from our Student Wellness Services team if your circumstances become overwhelming. A Counsellor may be able to assist you during this difficult period.
Yours sincerely,
Jenn Stephenson, Ph.D.
