I have reviewed your appeal to drop POLS 280 (Winter 2021) after the academic deadline. After careful consideration of the information that you provided, I have decided to grant your request.

I have granted this appeal based on the information that you provided within your letter as well as the support that you have received from your health-care provider. Going forward, I am confident that you will evaluate the impact of your health on your studies during week 7 of the term. If you have fallen behind in a course or find the material too difficult, you should drop the course by the deadline. The drop deadlines, as they have been outlined in the €œImportant Dates€ section on the Arts and Science web page, have been established by the Faculty of Arts and Science to ensure a fair and equitable treatment of all students.
