Dear Allyson Hunt:

I am sorry to have read in your letter of appeal that you have had a difficult term, in part due to COVID and remote learning. I have carefully considered your appeal to drop ECON 212, ECON 222, and ECON 250 (F 2020) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

I have granted this appeal due to the severity of your health issues during the Fall term and was happy to read that you have since sought the appropriate supports and are feeling better. Going forward, I am hopeful that you will remain connected with your health care provider and that you will carefully evaluate your progress in your courses and make appropriate academic decisions before the drop deadline.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
