Dear Jesse Mayo:

I am sorry to read that you have had challenges during the term which prevented you from completing FILM 330 and HIST 282 (F 2020). I have carefully considered your appeal to drop those courses past the academic deadline and after reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

I have exercised considerable leniency in this decision since an appeal to drop a course late would normally require documentation which includes information which is related to your health and wellness and indicates how the circumstances impacted your studies. However, I have noted that your family responsibilities were your priority this term, and that you have made the decision to graduate with your BA General degree and these courses are not required.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
