Decision Letter
Appeal Number: 7642
Decision Date: May 17, 2021
Associate Dean: Jenn Stephenson, Ph.D.
Student Name: Sean Killin
Student Email: sean.killin@queensu.ca
Dear Sean Killin:
I have carefully considered your appeal to drop HIST 242, HIST 263, STAT 263 (W 2017) and MUSC 171, HIST 260 (S 2019) past the academic deadline and have decided to grant your request.
Sean, it appears that in March 2018, you connected with Tess Grant and that in June 2019 she began the process of assisting you with registering with QSAS. Since you did not receive accommodations prior to that timeline, which ultimately impacted courses that you completed during and prior to that summer term timeline, I am also willing to drop EMPR 220 (F 2017) and HIST 226 , PHIL 303 (W 2018) as well.
Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
I wish you the best in your future endeavours.
Yours sincerely,
Jenn Stephenson, Ph.D.
