Dear Aidan Khoi:

I have carefully considered your appeal for Aegrotat Standing in DEVS 492, GPHY 101, RELS 163, FILM 240 (Winter 2021) and RELS 131 (Fall/Winter 2020/2021. After reviewing your file, I have decided to deny your request.

It appears that the instructors of DEVS 492 and FILM 240 (Winter 2021) have already graciously entered final grades based on the work that you had completed in their classes to date.

The information that I received from your instructor of GPHY 101 indicates that you have not yet met the learning outcomes of this class and that they will allow you to complete the outstanding poster assignment during the Summer 2021 term so that you can demonstrate this to them.

The information that I received from your instructor of RELS 131 (Fall/Winter 2020/2021) indicates that you have two major components outstanding in this class, including the final exam. This instructor has agreed to allow you to complete these outstanding components during the Summer 2021 term.

The information that I received from your instructor of RELS 163 (Winter 2021) indicates that they have already entered an Incomplete Grade (IN) in SOLUS and will allow you to complete the final exam during the Summer 2021 term.

I understand that this is a disappointing decision Aidan and I acknowledge that you have been impacted with ongoing health issues during the Winter 2021 term however, the documentation that you supplied suggests that your health issues may become resolved or lessoned due to your current treatment plan. As your documentation does not confirm the severity or impact of your circumstances on your academic ability during the Summer 2021 term, I cannot grant your request for Aegrotat Standing in these classes at this time. Instead, I encourage you to connect with your instructors to discuss completing the outstanding components in their classes before the end of the Summer term, August 31, 2021 at the latest, so that your grades may be adjusted accordingly.
