In general, an appeal would be successful when there are significantly extenuating circumstances, which would merit the waiving of an academic regulation. I acknowledge that your mental health was impacted by these unexpected work responsibilities and along with the supporting documentation that you submitted to support this appeal, I am happy to grant your request at this time.
Going forward, you should pause to evaluate the impact of your life challenges on your studies before the Academic Deadline of each term. If you have fallen behind in a course or find the material too difficult, you should drop the course at that time.
