I was sorry to read in your letter of appeal of the health-related challenges you outlined. I have carefully considered your appeal to drop CISC 101 (S 2020), CHEM 322, CHEM 323, ECON 112, ENSC 200, HIST 105 and HIST 228 (W 2021) past the academic deadline and have decided to grant your request.

Guiseppe, when reviewing your transcript, it appears that you may have experienced those same challenges during Winter term 2020 and I would be happy also drop CHEM 322 (W 2020) and CHEM 497 (FW 2020/21). If you wish to accept this offer to drop these additional courses, please email asc.appeals@queensu.ca within 21 days and we will proceed to drop those courses as well.

I encourage you to continue to work with your health care team and suggest you considering registering with QSAS who can help support both your health and academics by offering accommodations that may assist you.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding.
