Dear Yunuo Wang:

Your request to take part of the 2021/2022 Academic year on an International Letter of Permission at another University during the Fall 2021 term has been approved on behalf of the Associate Dean (Academic).

Please know that you are not to exceed 18.0 units of enrolled courses for the Fall 2021 term including the courses that you plan to take through Queen??s. It appears that you are currently enrolled in 15.0 units of courses at Queen??s and so you will have to adjust this schedule to make room for your ILOP courses.

As you know, Regulation 14.4 indicates that ??normally the last two years of the Honours degree are taken in the Faculty of Arts and Science at Queen??s.? However, after reviewing your file and the support that you received from your department, we will allow you to request elective courses, such as Computing courses that you meet the pre-requisites for from Beihang University in China.

You may now apply for an International Letter of Permission through the International Programs Office. We would strongly suggest that you remain closely connected with this office so that you can be made aware of potential disruptions to your international studies if they shall happen.

Note that official transcripts with final grades must be received by the International Programs office upon completion of the courses. Please keep in mind that you must achieve a minimum grade of C on each course taken on a Letter of Permission, unless stated otherwise.

Finally, please be advised that a student can complete a maximum of 57.0 transfer units towards their BA Honours degree (see Academic Regulation 16.1.3).

We wish you well in your studies.

On behalf of
Jill Atkinson, Ph.D.
Associate Dean (Academic)
