Dear Mia Sunner,
Your appeal requesting to add the Fall 2021 online sections of LAW 204 (class 3944) and LAW 207 (Class 3945), exam code Kingston, past the academic deadline has been granted on behalf of the Associate Dean (Academic). Tuition fees for these courses will be charged to your student account once they have been added to your transcript.
It is your responsibility to catch up on any late or missed work in the course and the instructors are not obligated to accommodate any student due to late registration. I would suggest you contact your instructors to discuss the best way to catch up in these courses. Please ensure that you monitor your academic progress very carefully and drop courses as needed within the academic deadlines. Registering late for a course is not considered grounds for appealing to drop after the published deadline.
You will be added to OnQ once you are registered by the Registrar??s Office, which should be within the next couple of days.
As pointed out in a previous email conversation, these two LAW courses will not be eligible to count towards the required 120 units needed to graduate since registering in these courses means you have exceeded the maximum number of units (6.0) allowed outside of the Faculty of Arts and Science to count towards your degree requirements.
Best of luck in this course.
Sincerely,
(for) Jill Atkinson Ph.D
